While in architecture school, I decided to get my first pet. I went to the closest pet store looking for a goldfish. There was a tank of goldfish for about $3 each. There was also a tank of “feeder fish” for 15 cents each. I spent 15 cents on my goldfish, and another $50 on a bowl. That was how I met Punter. He was a rescue fish, who lived another 4 years.
